Anthony Edwards might be known for his playful personality, but he wasn't playing at all in the case of a former love interest. An IG Model named Paige Jordae put her text messages between her and the baller out for the public.

In the exchange, Edwards comes off cold and direct about his lack of desire to have a child with her. The model is consistently taken aback at how cavalier and straight to the point Edwards alleged is when discussing her getting an abortion and offering money for her to have it done.

The text messages start out with a picture of a positive pregnancy picture and Edwards texting back, "Hell Nawl can't do dis." The model replied with, "What a great response," sarcastically.

Edwards gets right to it: "Get a abortion lol."

The subsequent text message exchange goes from a callous Edwards unmoved by her admission of guilt for a past abortion she had.

"Man you can't force a kid in da world," was the response.

Cold As Ice

Eventually, a deal is made for her to get the abortion, and Edwards supports in the form of $100,000. He required proof in the form of videos and pictures of morning-after pills and more. Eventually, at the end of the exchange, the model starts hounding Edwards about the payment, which he obliges with the picture of a pending wire transfer.

Few young players have captured the spotlight as quickly and brightly as Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Since his debut, Edwards has been turning heads with his explosive athleticism, scoring ability, and charismatic personality, marking him as one of the most exciting prospects in the league.

Anthony Edwards, selected as the first overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves, entered the league with high expectations. He did not disappoint. His rookie season was a showcase of his raw talent and potential. Edwards finished the season with impressive stats, including numerous high-scoring games that put him in contention for the Rookie of the Year award. His ability to take over games and his fearless approach, especially when attacking the basket, quickly made him a fan favorite.

The Talented Mr. Edwards

The transition from a promising rookie to a critical player for the Timberwolves was rapid for Edwards. In his sophomore season, his game showed remarkable growth. His scoring became more efficient, his decision-making on the court improved, and his defensive play stepped up. This growth solidified his position as a crucial player for the Timberwolves and placed him among the rising stars in the NBA.

His chemistry with fellow teammates, particularly with star center Karl-Anthony Towns, has been a critical factor in the team's improved performances. Edwards is well-known for his vibrant personality. His post-game interviews and social media presence have showcased his polarizing charisma, making him not just a player to watch but also a personality to follow. However, his off-court charm wore off when the stakes were as high as a child.

Anthony Edwards represents the new wave of talent in the NBA - players who are exceptionally skilled on the court and bring a refreshing energy and charisma off it. Now, his realities are coming face-to-face with his audience, and you can either salute him for his honesty or view him differently for being callous.

On Monday, Edwards owned up to it releasing a statement that said, "I made comments in the heat of a moment that are not me, and that are not aligned with what I believe and who I want to be as a man."

"All women should be supported and empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies and what is best for them,” the All-Star guard continued in a post on X. "I am handling my personal matters privately and will not be commenting on them any further at this time."

In his fourth season with the Wolves, Edwards is averaging 24.2 points a game.
