PRITTY Left Hook: “Cocaine Is A Helluva Drug” Coach Dorian Price Thinks Conor McGregor Won’t Fight Matt Brown Because “He’s Chasing That Dragon”
Former contestant of The Ultimate Fighter and Muay Fighter turned coach Dorian Price weighed in on the Twitter beef between his Conor McGregor and UFC fighter Matt "The Immortal" Brown, who Price trains.
"I don't think Conor wants the smoke, and also too, when he texted you've got to just look at the time. Conor's texting at prime coke hours, so he's probably coked out so he ain't serious," Price said on the "PRITTY Left Hook" podcast.
"He's just putting something out there. What do they say, 'cocaine's a hell of a drug' man and he's living it to the fullest."
McGregor felt a way when Brown tied Derrick "The Beast" Lewis with the most knockouts in the UFC at thirteen when he defeated Court McGee back in May during UFC on ABC: Rozenstruik vs. Almeida. Brown now also holds the most knockouts in UFC welterweight history.
“Notorious(ly)” Angry
McGregor tweeted how he felt.
"Matt Brown, at 42 years of age, now holds the joint highest KO’s inside the UFC with 13KO’s. Him and “The Beast” Lewis are tied. I hold 8 KO’s inside the UFC currently, at 34 years of age. I’m getting this record."
Brown tweeted back, "I’ll fight you for it."
However, the beef started to simmer when Brown took it further during a recent podcast interview.
“With Conor, I just want the red panty night, right? That’s all I give a f**k about,” Brown said recently on Michael Bisping’s “Believe You Me” podcast. “He’s a nobody, to be honest, in my opinion,” Brown said. “He was amazing, I give him all the props for all that he did. At this point, he’s a bum.
“You can headline that, and it won’t be bulls**t,” Brown continued. “Conor, I think he’s lost like four or his last five. He hasn’t f***ing done nothing. Everything you see, it’s him drinking or getting coked up, or he’s juiced out of his mind.
“That’s fing bum life to me. All that money don’t make you not a bum. You’re still a bum to me, bro. When you step in the cage, you’re still a f*ing bum to me."
Coach Price Keeps It Real
Brown's coach Dorian Price would still love for Brown to get the opportunity to fight McGregor for the payday that is attached to it.
"Now for my brother, Matt, I would love nothing more for him to get that fight and get that 14th knockout and get that, as Conor says, that 'red panty night' and get that bread man, but I don't think Conor's going to make a return and honestly nor should he," Brown continued on PLH.
"He's silly, and he's fooling himself; right now, he's just looking stupid. This is a sport of wolves and hungry lions, and he made a lot of bread, and he's running around here doing all these other things, and he needs to get out before he gets hurt. I don't think he's going to fight anybody.
“I think he's just suffering from what we're all suffering from when we realize our careers coming to an end we can't ket it go, we always got to get one more; its like we're chasing that dragon.
"People got to start looking at his (tweet) time that's prime coke hours."
