MMA Legend Agrees To Train Elon Musk In Cage Match Against Mark Zuckerberg
Now that Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter boss Elon Musk and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg want to fight in a cage match, a former UFC champion is offering his training services to Musk as a "huge fan."
Former UFC welterweight king and Canadian icon Georges St. Pierre took to where else but Twitter to let Musk know he is available to get him ready to faceoff against Zuck.
"@elonmusk I'm a huge fan of yours and it would be an absolute honor to help you and be your training partner for the challenge against Zuckerberg," St. Pierre tweeted at Musk.
He Ready!
It didn't take long for Musk to acknowledge the offer and respond simply with, "Okay, let's do it," with two fire emojis following.
The notion of a cage fight between the two began when Musk responded to a Twitter user pointing out Zuckerberg's potential new social media platform, Threads, which is described as a direct competitor to Twitter.
"I'm sure Earth can't wait to be exclusively under Zuck's thumb with no other options. At least it will be 'sane.' Was worried there for a moment," Musk posted.
When a Twitter user responded to Elon's comment: "Better be careful, @elonmusk. I heard he [Zuckerberg] does jujitsu now," Musk acted like he was ready to get it popping.
But Will They Fight Though?
"I'm up for a cage match if he is lol," Musk wrote back.
Zuckerberg heard and posted, "Send me location" on an Instagram Story featuring a screenshot of Musk's tweet. MMA fans recognized Zuck's words "send me location," as a throwback to former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov who said that to his combat sports nemesis, Conor McGregor.
Although UFC President Dana White thinks this could be "the biggest fight ever in the history of the world. Bigger than anything that's ever been done. It would break all pay-per-view records," as he said to TMZ Sports, there is no word that they will fight.
One thing is sure: two billionaires in one cage equal one expensive brawl.
