Its Lit! DJ Rictor Selects Top Five PSU Peach Bowl Playlist

As the Nittany Lions get ready to take on Ole Miss at the Chi-Fil-A Peach Bowl, we tapped in with legendary PSU DJ and Happy Valley culture creator DJ Rictor for the PSU Peach Bowl playlist.

Here’s the songs that WE ARE listening to in the ‘A’ this weekend!

PSU PEACH BOWL PLAYLIST

Nicki Minaj

‘EVERYBODY’

Nicki Minaj has returned triumphantly with her highly-anticipated album, “Pink Friday 2,” and the audacious collaboration on the standout track, “Everybody,” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, is already making waves. The dynamic duo has taken a unique turn by infusing Jersey club music into a rap bonanza of vibes. The track draws heavy inspiration from “Move Your Feet” by Junior Senior and is the energy pumping through the veins of Penn State faithful this weekend.

Fred Again

‘DELILAH (PULL ME OUT OF THIS)’

Late last year, Fred Again shared a track called ‘Delilah (Pull Me Out Of This)’ and PSU couldn’t get enough. The song appeared on the producer’s third album ‘Actual Life 3.’ According to Fred, “I originally wrote this song about having a panic attack in a club, and needing your person to pull you out of it. Obviously totally inspired by @delilahmontagu ‘s beautiful words.”

Drake

RICH BABY DADDY ft. SEXYY RED, SZA

PSU can’t get enough of Big Sexyy and this collaboration with Drake and SZA is a Happy Valley staple! After debuting at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100, “Rich Baby Daddy” became a massive trending hit on TikTok, peaking at No. 10 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart a few weeks after it first dropped. The track was released in October as part of Drake’s For All The Dogs, which spent two weeks atop the Billboard 200.

DRAKE

‘KNIFE TALK’ ft. 21 SAVAGE & PROJECT PAT

The Certified Lover Boy is a certified hit maker as “Knife Talk,” is still relevant outchea. Co-produced by Metro Boomin and Peter Lee Johnson, the song was a standout track from Drake’s sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy, which came out in 2021. The cut samples Juicy J’s 2017 song “Feed the Streets,” featuring ASAP Rocky and Project Pat.

TAYLOR SWIFT

‘ANTI-HERO’

Taylor Swift has been ubiquitous with football this year but along the way she also has continued to blaze a trail in the music business. Swift achieved the unprecedented feat of monopolizing the Hot 100’s top 10 in a single frame, as, on the chart dated Nov. 5, 2022, she infused the region with 10 tracks from her 2022 album Midnights, led by the No. 1 launch of the set’s lead single, “Anti-Hero.”

In 2023, Swift continues to rewrite Hot 100 history. “Cruel Summer” became her 10th No. 1. Reigning more than four years after its release on her 2019 album, Lover, it completed the longest ascent to the top for a non-holiday song by a woman with no accompanying artists.
